Orange Shirt Day & Terry Fox Run
Orange Shirt Day & Terry Fox Run – A Day of Reflection, Celebration, and Action
On Sept 26th, our school will come together for a meaningful day that honours both Orange Shirt Day and the legacy of Terry Fox.
We invite all students to wear an orange shirt to recognize the impact of residential schools and to affirm that Every Child Matters. We’ll begin the afternoon with a special assembly in the gym, where we’ll celebrate our Students of the Month, reflect on the importance of Orange Shirt Day, and learn about Terry Fox’s inspiring journey and commitment to cancer research.
Following the assembly, students will participate in our annual Terry Fox Run on the school field — a chance to show school spirit, build community, and carry forward Terry’s message of hope and perseverance.
Let’s come together to honour the past, celebrate our students, and take action for a better future.
